Sonnblick Observatory, Austria, November 13-21, 1997In November 1997, I spent a week at the Sonnblick Observatory in Austria (47 N, 12 E) collecting air samples as part of a research project with the Max-Planck Institute for Chemistry. The observatory, located at 3106 meters (10,190 ft) above sea level, has been the site of continuous meteorological measurements since September 1886. |
